"Best BS free book on school management.
Like having a conversation with a very wise headteacher who has seen it all.
Practical, honest realistic and bitesize chunks that cut through the waffle.
Highly highly recommend."

An essential guide for new and aspiring school leaders and head teachers.
This A-Z provides an authentic vision for school leaders. Three topics are discussed for each letter of the alphabet. It has been deliberately written with reaffirming the moral purpose in leadership. The aim of this book is to set out some key elements of school leadership advice that the author has gathered along the way in nearly two decades in education.
From the outset, A-Z can oversimplify matters and the author has tried to move away from the obvious ones: A: Assessment, P: Parents, T: Teaching. Instead, the author has deliberately focused on the role of the leader and how their actions impact colleagues and more importantly the students.
His written style is often with great personal candour and humour which brings this book alive to the reader and makes it very relatable to anybody who has ever worked in a school. Upon reading the book, you will want to no doubt refer to it as a practical reminder of why you became a teacher and why you progressed to join the senior leadership team and become a school leader.
Available in paperback, hardcover and Kindle e-book format

Fantastic gift idea!
"Bought this book as a gift for a family friend. The book is written in a clear and engaging way that is perfect for young people grappling with the demands of education. The book is methodical and goes through key challenges that may present themselves but more importantly how to overcome them.
Another fantastic read by a man experienced in the education sector and who is able to pass his wisdom down. Inspiring and most importantly accessible for young people who are going through stressful exam periods and the transition from education to career life."
